“This is a new era for the park,” said Brad Thomas, president of Silver Dollar City Parks & Resorts. The company is dedicated to creating a truly Ozarks experience that is playful, craft and exploration, he said.
This 1,200 acre development will both increase what the park has to offer and establish Silver Dollar City as a premier destination in the area.
Recent Additions: Fire in the Hole
Not only will there be a new resort, but Silver Dollar City is also rolling out new attractions. Last March, the park unveiled the new “Fire in the Hole” – an enclosed steel roller coaster that melds dark ride elements with thrilling drops. This $30 million investment honors the ride from which it got born, but with state of the art effects and storytelling.
