Since ‘Dolly’s Chattanooga ma and pa, Bill and Linda Gatton, opened a church music shop in 1960, it and its various family outgrowths have become a staple of the Smokies: currently, it’s a theme park full of roller coasters and Southern charm, plus musical shows created by Dollywood, the company that grew out of the Gattons’ 1960s enterprise. Dinner shows such as Hatfield & McCoy or Pirates Voyage are fun family foods and fun at night.
